That's a stretch, it's written by Swedes.
Petunija was my favorite from the first show. I can actually imagine her song being turned into an interesting, professional package on the Eurovision stage, and it sounds more representative of independent Lithuanian music than anything else I've ever heard in their selections. I'm not optimistic that it's going to happen, because she's not a jury-friendly vocalist... that's probably just how she sings and it suits what she's doing, but it's not accurate and polished enough for Eurovision.

Donny now looks like a mixture of Danny Saucedo and Alexey Vorobyov :? And that's not a compliment from me because it reminds me of countless Melodifestivalen male participants.

Yeaah... no. I don't think Donny Montell's song is a winning song. Top 15, perhaps.. Top 10 if lucky. Granted, it's good. It hits you immediately, which is perfect for this contest. Better than most pop songs I've heard in the national finals so far (besides Hungary's). His confidence as a performer will work well for him, but we know that already. It lacks a certain authenticity and originality to make him really stand out, though, and the quality is pretty darn good, but not the best of the best, it definetly couuuld be better. I haven't heard any of the other songs in the Lithuanian selection yet, but if they end up picking this, I'd give it a strong 8+. And I like the video, even if it's full of hipster aesthetics and cliches, lmao.

I found that 'Waiting for this night' written with a sharpie on her shoulder in the end of this video to be quite funny... Seemed like some sort of an after-thought that someone came up with while filming it. I was thinking they could have at least made it look like some sort of a tattoo with the writing being in a script font, lol. That would have made more sense.

The way Donny dresses and the atmosphere portrayed in his video are really cringey when you consider that he's 28 years old with a wife and a child.
