Yeah, I dunno who he is (apparently not a Swede), but it seems there's atleast one Swedish attached to pretty much all entries aswell

"Aidan O'Connor Song Contest"

He appears to be a lyricist from Ireland who has also tried his luck with Malta, Romania and Moldova.

It was extended. 5 or 6 more weeks now.
And the NF is being a ratings success apparently, that's why it was extended

Lithuanian Eurovision site Eurodiena reported today that three songs that are in the running to be selected for the Moldovan final, are likely the same as three songs already in the Lithuanian preselection, namely the following songs by Irish songwriter Aidan O’Connor:

Take A Look At Me Now
A New Beginning
It’s All About A Boy

If the songs are indeed the same, those songs will be found to have violated a rule of the Lithuanian preselection, being that the songs must not have been entered into other preselections.

Disgraceful. Such hacks should receive lifetime ban from everything ESC related.

No big loss if they get removed from the competing songs list.

I think the best thing would be to eliminate them from the Moldovan NF, considering the Lithuanian one has started before it.

This selection is a nightmare and Lithuania seems kinda clueless about Eurovision.

I guess I'm rooting for Vilija to sing "Attention". It wouldn't be as manufactured as one of the other random singers getting a random song, which seems to be the stupid idea of this concept. At least Vilija wrote "Attention" herself, and her performance of it is pretty slick.

I wonder how many non Lithuanian eurovision fans will NOT watch the national final of Finland or Switzerland,or the Semi of Melodifestivalen,
but will prefer this show tonight.

Yeah the show really makes no sense to me.
Did she write it herself?? Oh, i am not surprised she's so natural with it then, rooting for "Attention" even more now.

I am dissapointed. About everything in this selection.
The format Changed and corrected million times, and in final - 3 months of crap called Lithuanian selection.
The songs Nothing special, just a few better ones.
The jury 2 opera singers in 4 people jury? dafuq, LRT? Also, foreign jurors voting randomly everytime.
The voting Internet voting with obviously cheating compositors using proxy. Also, suspiciously cardinally changing results per 5 mins..
And everything else. I hate everything in this.
