Those lyrics? :shock: FOR GODS SAKE!, you can write a song about anything in the world. Yet you choose to write about "Wanting you baaaaack!" like everyone f*cking else.
Sometimes i think Eurovision is hopeless, but there are also those small glimpses of actual content..
Well, at least he has a nice voice, but his English is also ridiculous..

Lithuania's 2009 and 2010 songs are awesome. I like both of them. In 2011, song was for death people, my opinion '-'
And this year, no idea. I don't like it so much right now but I think I will. After part of 1:40 is good, like but no idea about final. Or semi final.

I think this song is dreadful. Worst is the staging - the blindfold is one of the cheapest gimmicks I've ever seen. Then the way the song changes into something more upbeat. A lot of style over substance. And the retro beat sounds like a relic from the 80s but not a good one.

Donny Montell with the song Love Is Blind has been chosen as the representative of Lithuania in the Eurovision Song Contest 2012. An expert jury selected the song from the three songs that had reached the Superfinal, after televoters and the jury had selected them from the 14 songs that competed in tonight's final Eurovizijos nacionalinė atranka.

After a series of four semi-finals. The following 14 songs competed in tonight's final. A combination of televoting and an expert jury decided which three would progress to the Superfinal. The five member expert jury awarded the following points (In brackets). These were then converted into the traditional 12, 10, 8 format. The televoting from the public was also converted into the 12, 10, 8 format.

The qualifiers for the Superfinal are in bold.

While the televoting was taking place, the French entrant for Baku, Anggun performed her entry Echo (You And I) as well as another song titled Only Love.

Before the Superfinal result, Kurt Calleja from Malta performed his entry This Is The Night.

From the following three songs that reached the Superfinal, the five member expert jury selected the song that would represent the nation in Europe's Favourite TV Show. (Winner in bold)

Don't really think this song is that great. I always find it surprising how Estonia have had some great tracks in their ESC history (and granted some rubbish ones too) but Lithuania...none of their past tracks ever stand out for me

I strongly agree with you, one of the worst gimmicks I had to witness in a long time. And the more I listen to the song, the less I like it.

OK, finally I heard it. I think It's a shallow song that wants to be deep and emotional. Why English lyrics needs to be so pathetic most of time??:/
I also don't like these big oscillations (with music) during the song. Change of a rhythm can be good, but it was done amateurish in here. Sorry, I don't like it at all, but not hating either. Guy is cute and song is improvement compared to last year. I'll give it 3.

I watched the final yesterday and I really wanted him to win ♥ I kinda like the song even if its lyrics are a bit... random. Donny has the voice and I think that he will do great in Baku if he brings a good act and backing vocals.
I gave him 12 because I liked the performance and I loved his voice. And the song is kinda catchy in my opinion He's not in my TOP 5 at least, but I liked it ^^

this song will definitely go far if he can fix the following

1. a great backing performance. he clearly can dance and he owned the stage. While the blindfolds fine, spent well too much time with it and was the only 'gimmick'
2. ENGLISH LESSONS. his pronunciation of words is awful at the beggining.

fix those and you've got an easy finalist.

I like the blindfold gimmick. It gives more artistry the whole performance. Evelina's use of sign language and Sasha Son's fire from his hand were interesting small, but noticeable things that in my opinion boosted their performances and gave them a qualification spot. The only thing he could probably change is the clothes. By that I mean he should have something more laid back (jeans and a nice shirt would be fine). I like that jacket and the shirt, but for some reason it doesn't add to the whole thing. It's no big of a deal really.
I really like the song and I believe it will remain in my top10 for this year. For me, maybe the best Lithuanian entry.
