The performance was memorable, I'll give it that, but the song itself is hot garbage (but given it was written in half a day it's not really surprising).

So many potential winners of the final in this coming heat: Double Faced Eels (my personal pick to win), Adriana Miglane, Kristiana, Carousel, hell even Dzili Violets might pull off an upset, this IS Latvia after all (and having the Riga Beaver as a member of the group might help them!)

Samanta Tina's performance was life itself in a neat 3 minute package. Her time is now, and I feel proud to say I was there on this journey from the beginning rooting for her seven or eight years ago. I've watched this queen blossom into the unstoppable force of nature that she is today. Let's cut the wire this May.

It's terrible, but it is somehow as usual every year. Latvia is a small country and we do not have a big diversity of artists like other countries, so basically it is the same people every year singing the same songs.

Tautasdziesma was good, but I think it's still in that grey area that people don't quite know what to make of it, so I don't think it'll get support :/
