Watching their music video and wondering if this song/entry is a piss-take?

I've said it before, I'm fairly sure it's about hash and spacecakes.

Well, yes, the hash cake does make sense but the video looks like a parody of a children's TV show. I can't decide whether it's just plain cheesey or it's some major Eurovision trolling from Aarzemnieki.

I find this song quite enjoyable lately. I think I need some sleep.

I hope they can reach the final but it will be an uphill struggle for them.

–Baking a cake? Makes a change from love, peace, war and general dreariness. Don’tthink it will do that well though. 1 for an uplifting song..

I just listened to the song for the very first time. It has a cute, fragile intro. The verses in English are a bit difficult to understand, but that's perhaps my fault :-) The atmosphere and style reminds me a bit of Brainstorm, but in a much more simple and more naive version. Towards the end of the song all that cake stuff becomes a bit "too much", but the innocent feeling remains.

He speaks Dutch haha, He had us all singing Dutch songs in EIC.

Isn't he from the Netherlands or something? He's not Latvian. The word "ārzemnieks" means "foreigner".

I would enjoy this song more if I didn't know that the Latvian televoters ditched Dons for the second time...

Are they changing the lyrics? It has a phase in Latvian which translates as '**** you'

This song has been growing on me lately.
Cute sweet song, wouldn't be surprised to see it qualifying.
