I like the choreography and clothes, it's nice and interesting combination of folk and modern..

I'm just afraid many will find her singing as a witch!

Well, taste differs. I'm a strong supporter of the traditional wreath so, I'd say more wreaths!

I cross all my fingers for Olga & Ligo, though with my current "luck" I don't have any hopes... If we're lucky they might get second spot in the televoting in the final (Dons will most probably win that), but then it depends on if the juries will be conventional and boring and vote for MF wannabes like Samanta Tina or Niko or if they want to support something fresh and genuine and Latvian like Olga & Ligo instead (I hope for the latter and I think that would stand out way more in ESC than some typical entries).

Also there's the Mad Show Boys horror band aswell

Latvia has a real nice LATVIAN folk/modern fusion entry and we have an actual chance of hearing something genuine from Latvia in ESC for the first time, it would be such a shame if we'll end up with some wannabe MF or American stuff instead

Why must you all hate on poor Samanta Tina? If I wasn't such a big fan of Romanian legend Mona Mihaela Trifu, i'd change my avatar and signature to pictures of Samanta to show my support. She gets such a rough ride every year1

I find her so charming and her english is the most adorable thing ever. I love how she's really trying her best to pronounce words and as a result of that she often over pronounces them.. and she sometimes I swear to god slips out something that sounds cockney.. then last year we had her suddenly becoming Japanese with her pronunciation of the word Hero as "Hee-roo".. and who could forget her classic song "For Father" where Samanta asks the listener "Can someone explain me.. who you are? Can someone explain me what for you are?"

Cut the girl some slack already. She's Latvian Eurovision royalty in the making

Latvia is in a very tough semi, sending Olga/Ligo they'll not only be true to themselves and the ESC concept, but they'd also have an entry that would stand out amongst the competition (in a good way).

Sending some MF stuff, they'd probably get lost in the competition... perhaps get some granny jury votes... but probably not more than that

Please Latvia, make a bitter Swede happy!

So she can compete for the UK then if her English is that superb (they have trouble finding decent entrants anyways)... but leave Latvia and Olga & Ligo ALONE ... we don't need more English and wannabe stuff in ESC... especially not when we have other options!

They could send her to Sweden then, if our quality will continue like the first semi of MF then we could import some MF wannabes from abroad instead

Now you officially killed all my love for folk entries in ESC... When you as an ethno ESC entries lover says that to me who am not too fond of ethno ESC entries and I had them as a favorites in 2004..that kills all my love to ethno in ESC..

I know it's a risk to take considering the Europhobic juries, but it's worth taking because the pay-off could be so much sweeter than MAYBE (if they're lucky) qualify with a bland wannabe song and then end up in the middle as best

I would save Katrine from Serbia! You didn't know that we are allowed to vote even if we don't participate..and we can vote in both semis!
