Eight years later, Michael was a law student who attended the trials that the Nazis committed during the wars. There he reunited with Hana which is one of the defendants. How is Hana's past reveals, Michael discovers a great secret that will have a huge impact on their lives. "The Reader" is a story of truth and repentance, how about the crimes of previous generations affect the latter generations.
