How fast The Netherlands will fall if they come last. That second place going to waste.

Each year's ESC is an independent event. How well or badly a country does one year has no bearing on its performance the next. Just because the Netherlands reached the final and finished second last year, it's still no guarantee they'll reach the final let alone win this year.

That's not what I meant or was saying at all. What I was getting at is that eurovision is seen a lot more positively in The Netherlands now, and for them to flop in the semi's and get an awful result will destroy that positive opinion.
