Here we go again It's not my problem if the musical horizons of some people are limited to English/Greek/Spanish etc and they are not willing to search for a song in a different language than they know

It has nothing to do with 'limited horizons'. It has to do with being able to send a song we like, not just any song because we can't find any more in a given language...and I did search, both on google and on YouTube...and now that I've heard mapudungun, I do feel my horizons expanding

I haven't seen in the rules that only well known languages are allowed, or that it's "European Languages Randomizer Spin-Off".

I didn't say it's against the rules and I never mentioned European. It could have been Chinese and I wouldn't complain - I also like the Hindi suggestion - because there are tons of songs in Chinese and Hindi. My issue was/is that there aren't enough songs in that language so, the poor person who gets it, will have to choose from very few songs that they may not even like and I just find it unfair when the others will have a wide variety to choose from. All in all, I was talking about consideration for others, you're talking about rules. Anyway, since noone else seems to have a problem with it, the subject is closed. Go mapudungun

Whereas I understand that this sort of spin-off is a chance to include 'different' languages in the contest, I'm opposite to just suggesting a language that you know you won't get but someone else will and there won't even be enough songs to choose from. We should all have the same chances to win and unless we all suggest 'strange' languages, I don't see how the person who'll get 'mapudungun' will have even the slightest chance.

I would like to get something challenging, not Greek, English etc.
