Kyushu, meaning ''Nine Provinces'', is the southernest Japanese region. It covers the island of Kyshu, third-largest island of Japan, and the Ryukyu Islands.
Kyushu is made up of eight different prefectures : Fukuoka, Saga, Kumamoto, Nagasaki, Ōita, Kagoshima, Miyazaki and Okinawa. Its name comes from nine ancient provinces of Saikaidō situated on the island. As of 2006 Kyushu has a population of 13,231,995 and covers 35,640 square kilometers.
Fun fact : Hoenn region in Pokémon is modeled after Kyushu.

WV 66 ENTRANT: AIMER

Aimer described in few words
Aimer (エメ) is a Japanese pop singer-lyricist signed to SME Records. She made her major début in September of 2011 with the single "Rokutosei no Yoru / Kanashimi wa Aurora ni / TWINKLE TWINKLE LITTLE STAR". She was born in Kumamoto, on 1st January, 1991 -I let you guess her age then.. :s-, which marked the beginning of her wonderful career.

Despite those great songs from Aimer, she's still stuck to a small popularity in Japan, due to the animes, which are only conveying Aimer's song right now.

What do you think about Aimer?
To my mind, Aimer is a great singer, who deserves a bigger reputation in Japan, but not only there. Her songs should (and could) be widespread all over the world. In regards to the bunch of songs, which were produced by Aimer herself and her songwriters (?), she is really talented and she is able to make us feel special feelings, thanks to the lyrics (when you do understand Japanese... :s) and to the melody.

Wooooo! Such an amazing voice. If you don't end up in the finals again, something must have gone terribly wrong.

Would absolutely love to see you sending Brave Shine, which is my favourite of the Aimer songs I've heard; failing that, Ninelie is also pretty great. I think I'll end up supporting you regardless though~

I obviously chose to select 'Last Stardust' as I think this is one of the best songs from Aimer that I've listened to.

It was a real pleasure to compete as , and I wish the following players to enjoy their short (or long, whatever.. ) thread's owning in the future.

I leave with a 3 qualifications streak (as Ayumi should've been qualified twice instead of one...), even though this case wasn't guaranteed by my choices of songs, which often ain't aiming to appeal to everyone here.

Just wanted to write how much i'm enjoying Aimer's song. With each listen it grows on me more. I have a very difficult relationship with pop rock songs but I absolutely adore this. Melodically that chorus is awesome. It's so heavy and dramatic. The Japanese have a special way with their melodies. I hope this song gets you a nice result. For me it's easily your best song so far. Thanks for sharing it and good luckxcrossed
