To protect the health of all the artists and ensure the competition can still take place in a fair and safe way, all the competing songs will be performed in a studio in each participating country.

Canceling these events is such an unnecessary step.
JESC seems to be more capable of adjusting to the current situation than the ESC did.
I'm glad they go ahead with the show.

So Portugal decided to withdraw in the end, but Belarus is still taking part. The performances being pre-recorded is very different, but the format is much safer than having 12 delegations travel to Poland.

The EBU just officially said that the list might not be final - Due to the new rules (that the delegations/singers won't have to travel to Warsaw), they might add a few countries

Soleá will represent Spain at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2020. Spanish public broadcaster RTVE just revealed the news that the 9-year-old from Sevilla 'is having a dream fulfilled' with participating in the Contest.

It sounds better than the early live performance but it's nothing ground-breaking... It's better than Sister and Perfect Life, though - I think it suits the JESC, though.

BTRC is silent about their JESC participation. All kids from the NF still have no clue if it happens at all.
