Exactly. Like Zena, at first I didn't like the song at all but it slowly grew on me. It even might end up in my top 5.

Song 7: Belarus: Another of my least-liked songs when watching the preview videos, and the live performance isn't much better. The song has a good dance routine, which one could enjoy copying at home, and some of the graphics are impressive. I particularly liked the up and down escalators simulated on the background screen (though what was their significance)? At the end of the day, this is a song contest, and the song wasn't really up to much. A bottom of the scoreboard contender.

Song 8: Malta: "We Are More" is one of the better songs so far this afternoon, certainly better than Georgia and Belarus. Eliana Gomez Blanco has a good voice, she sang the song well. I like the way some of the lyrics appear on the background screen, just like certain ESC songs in recent years. This could be a top 10 contender.

Knowing the juries, Malta will be placed quite high but the song is just such a non-event.

Song 9: Wales: now for the song belonging to the broadcaster's channel I'm watching (S4C). Of course, it's only representing Wales, not the whole of the UK. Undeniably I'm biased, as Wales is the part of the UK that is competing, when there's no all-UK entry. Nonetheless, in my opinion, Erin Mai has a good voice,, and she sang Calon yn Curo (Heart Beating) well. Good staging too. Hopefully this will get into the top 10 this year.

wow i never paid much attention to the Kazakhststan's song but the vocals & performance are wonderful. I love the dancers' dresses!
