I don't know about the other fans but I will wait until Sunday and vote after all the performances.

If i understand right you can also vote twice, now and after the performances.

So Jon Ola Sand said they might adopt the online voting at the main Eurovision in the future.
Well if they do it has to be in a different format. It should be open only during the 15 minutes after all the performances on the show and people shouldn't be able to vote for their own country. Still, people will find a way to hack the system and vote for whoever they want how many times they want, so if they do that it will be a huge mistake.

It seems Nuno Galopim was in a Portuguese talk-show this afternoon talking about our Junior Eurovision participation. I didn't see it, but people are saying he pretty much confirmed Portugal will take part again next year.

Hopefully not, it works very fine at the moment.

They will probably do it themselves to ensure that the "right" Country wins. I remember how pissed he looked in 2016 before the Televoting when :ua: surprisingly overtook :au:

Dammed, my ass knew that it wouldn't end well  If they provide "voting for your own country" thing it would be equal to "no voting at all" to me.

I think they won't ever let that vote for your own country happen in the main contest though. I mean, they can't be that stupid right?

I wish I could trust them but this is the same organisation that didn't change rules in 1969 despite the fact that the 1968 was won by a margin of 1 point. And more recently pretended that the 2003-2007 period didn't have any serious problems until after the period ended (by witch time everybody I know that wasn't a fan of the contest stopped watching).

I bet the online voting will be somethig similar to Melodifestivalen, everyone will finish with almost the same points and then the jury will basically decide who will win xshrug

haha I've always loved Malta, Netherlands and Australia but Armenia and Albania have grown on me a lot recently
It's amazing how tastes are different
Well, I don't like boysbands so 3x no to :nl:, Australia is just ok and Malta looks hilarious on stage (chubby guy and taller girls dancing around :D) and the song does not impress me.. I simply dislike the entries from :al: and :am:

I thought about this already and looking at the Wiwibloggs "Who did you vote for?" poll that is pretty clear: The votes will be so spread everybody will get a very similar amount of points and the jury basically decides who wins. It's the problem with app voting and online voting where we can vote for many countries for free.

EDIT: I did the math (Yes, I'm that much of a nerd ) and if the wiwibloggs poll were the real results, the current leader, Portugal, would only get 88 points from the televoting, which is quite a small value. The last place, Georgia, would get 31 points, so the spread is really small.

I think putting personal tastes aside I think the best song on a musicality aspect is Poland.
I think the most current song that could be played on radio anywhere would be Australia.
If I was judging on fun I would say Malta.
Power I would say Russia...

There are so many aspect of this year's songs that I love

During the jury final there was a problem at the beginning of Portugal's performance, as a camera failed. They had to restart the performance.
Mariana Venâncio said in a video for RTP that we should not vote for Russia because the singer is very antipathic  Mariana is very funny in interviews, I really like her

I agree on this but Portugal instead of Malta wins the "fun category" for me
