I don't think that countries such as France or UK want to join this. I mean, this year only 12 countries participated.. What's the point of spending money for a contest like that?

Apparently, Ukraine would like to host JESC 2013.

Other countries that would have shown interest are Belgium and Azerbeidjan

Belgium withdrew their bid a few days ago because the VRT has to cut its budget with €4,5 million.

Nooo, Belgium out. It's can be true, JESC without them will not be the same
BTW1 I really don't know why, but I think Israel will withdraw too. And maybe Azerbaijan.
BTW2 Host city is Kiev, they was selected in January/February. Any mod/admin, please change the name of thread
