Stay strong! At least you know that I loved your song
The song of B'z came 2nd in that NF? I hope for that one, I still listen to it
Sooooooo, it's WV18 NF time, and as promised we have a very special selection this time around.
All of the competitors here came 2nd in their respective NFs over the previous 5 editions, so it's time to gift just one of them a vital 2nd chance to represent Japan before they are resigned to WV history...
Please vote - your input is vital to ensure that the best song gets through!
WV18 SECOND CHANCE NF
Song 1... the song that finished second in our NF for WV13 lost out to Ayumi Hamasaki's "M" by only 4 points. I'm delighted to present to you once again the beautiful...
IKIMONO GAKARI - SAKURA
Song 2... despite clocking the most top votes in the NF for WV14, our second song finished second, 7 points behind Stereopony's "Hitohira no Hanabira". This time, will it be the time for some 80's J-pop to shine....?
B'z - BAD COMMUNICATION
(Apologies for the lack of the official video - my Vimeo was suspended, and I can't find another HQ version online )
Song 3... in the end, there wasn't really a massive competition with WV15, with KOKIA's "Battle of Destiny" beating this track by more than 20 points! But that's not to say this track is not worth another chance...
AAA - DAIJI NA KOTO
Song 4... the runner-up from our special Hello! Project NF is probably my favourite ever J-pop song... but don't let that influence you!!
DEF.DIVA - SUKI SUGITE BAKA MITAI
Song 5... and finally, the surprising runner-up from our last NF for WV17. One of the biggest female stars in Japanese music...
NAMIE AMURO ft. AI & ANNA TSUCHIYA - WONDER WOMAN
