After finished at 13th place at WV 07 Final with Aya Ueto, Japan will choose their entry by National Final again !! xcheer

There will be 5 song that will compete to be Japan's Entry in WV 08
Let the show begin !!

1. MONKEY MAJIK x M-Flo - Picture Perfect
At last NF, Monkey Majik finished at 2nd place with "CHANGE". Now, they are given second chance to compete in Japan National Final with collaboration with M-Flo, famous Japanese RnB group.


2. Utada Hikaru - Flavor of Life ~Ballad Version~
Utada Hikaru, famous Japanese female singer, will try to compete in Japan NF with her song "Flavor of Life". This song was soundtrack for J-Dorama "Hanayori Dango 2".


3. EXILE - La La La Love Song
EXILE is a Japanese Boyband, consist of singer and performer/dancer. This song, La La La Love Song, is a cover from Toshinobu Kubota (the original, this song was soundtrack for J-Dorama "Long Vacation" and was a great hit in Japan)


4. Koda Kumi - Yume no Uta
Koda Kumi is a famous Japanese female singer for RnB genre. She will participate Japan NF with her ballad song, "Yume no Uta" (Dream's Song in english)


5. BACK-ON ft. Me - With You
BACK-ON is a Japanese rock band. This song, "With You" (Kimi to~ in Japanese), was a soundtrack for game "Tales of the World ~Radiant Mythology)

Kumiko Kōda (神田 來未子 Kōda Kumiko, born November 13, 1982), better known by her stage name Koda Kumi (倖田 來未 Kōda Kumi, is a Japanese singer from Kyoto, known for her urban and R&B songs. Japan will choose internally for WV 9 xshock

Japan National Final will be CANCELED !!!! xcry

note : I'll be busy for next 2 week (until the end of February) and it's not possible for me to organize an NF. But don't worry, I'll arrange an NF for WV 10 ;)

this why i said "Asia entries are underrated in WV"

No matter how we send good entry, it won't go through to final easily while other "mediocre" or "so-so" entries will go through to final easily. xshrug

Well, for me this Worldvision seemed like europe-centered for 90% of the member are european, what else to expect?
I choose to enjoy everything, including seeing lots of asian's best songs falling hard in the competition :D

Being European doesn't automatically mean disliking Asian music. I'm European and I love stuff you guys send from Japan, Malaysia, Indonesia. Not only that, I listen to Asian music on a regular basis, and think that it's way better than some specific European music.
