How? Not even Giorgia could even throw a fist and she was just right there.

That Top 5 is kinda random.

A pity they have to offer the ESC ticket to the runner-up if Sanremo's winner declines the offer.
I was.hoping for RAI to pull off a Nina Zilli this year.
Annalisa was damn more competitive than Giorgia (who, for me, could have snatched like an end of ESC top ten).
I've turned off Sanremo, don't care who wins anymore. I just hope for a 2010 riot orchestra, but stronger :)

I listened to it three times and I genuinely do not find a single thing to like about Lucio Corsi lmao. He might be my #28 maybe ahead of the random Shablo group

The other 4 are alright, though not necessarily my favs.

Expecting Cristicchi to take it now tbh

I mean, I like the songs in the top 5 - Olly and Fedez are good but..

I'm in literal shock, I can't believe this.

As I've said it before, It's the most unpredictable Sanremo ever. This was a 5-6 horse race since the beginning, because everyone underestimated Fedez and Corsi, with Brunori being the biggest dark horse, still with a 4% chance of victory before the final. Two horses out, five in. Let's see what's happening here.

Lucio is great, I like Brunori and Simone as well. Fedez is fine I guess, just please don't choose Olly 🙏

Olly doesn't win and neither does Brunori Sas and Lucio Corsi. The fight is between Cristicchi and Fedez. I've always seen Fedez as a dark horse. He has a modern song on Fedez that with the right staging could upset Basel. The old supporters of "Cenere" could be quenched tonight.

About Giorgia I say that she is the manifesto of talent and simplicity but the song was basic. She would have done well but would never have won the ESC. Ironically Cristicchi would have more chances.

This just broke the universe somehow with how dreadful it is and made Italy go crazy across countries
That's the only explanation

What was amazingly fun is that everybody was rooting for a guy called Marco Mengoni... who finished 3/3 in the superfinal. "Italia amore mio" (who finished second) was really awful... and booed by Sanremo.

Exactly. Everyone complains about this year results, but in 2010 we witnessed the worst winner and the worst runner-up ever in Sanremo in a single edition. The results were atrocious.

But the orchestra was rooting for Malika Ayane who didn't make it to the top 3.
