Are you kidding? She does everything she wants with her voice while singing, the others simply can't reach that perfection. I repeat, in a final she has put two variations in the climax, making It even difficult than the original song to sing. But you didn't notice the difference because she can do, without you noticing. She is vocally in another league.

that's great, but I cannot remember the melody of the song anymore and we've just listened to it. It's not just about the technical abilities, but about the overall song. And this one seems... fine but not incredible

I only have the show on in the background as I'm doing other stuff on the computer, and I honestly couldn't remember Giorgia's song despite having just heard it. I had to go back and listen to it just now because of the comments here, but it just doesn't stand out at all to me. It's not bad, but I'm not wowed.

I think everything you describe is maybe the reason that I'm not fond of it. I couldn't put my finger on it until now. It's a nice ballad and she is technically perfect. Except that I can notice, I notice when she touches her ear everytime she goes for a high note, how she changes her position and she loses the emotion. For me anyway. I'm in the minority here, but it doesn't go through.

In Italy you can have the better song in the World, but if you aren't capable of singing it correctly, or being convincing at least, you can go home. It's our thing. We evaluate a lot how someone sings. That's why you didn't understand how we allocate our televote points in Eurovision.

Due Vite

Had to go back and listen to Due Vite to make sure I had the comparison correct. And Giorgia’s song does in fact sound like a less powerful and less charismatic version of it.

Vocally she would be the best of the year so far. But that’s about it.
