Tonight we will also taste what the public thinks about Angelina.
My feelings are that she could be a valid option for another top 5 in ESC or maybe even higher.
Another strong option could be Annalisa, rumors permitting. I know that @Paco Roca repeats continuosly that she could get a Nina Zilli result. Just to remind that Nina got 9th, a top 10 result.
I don't see anyone alse ( I'm talking about the pretenders to get the super top 5)
getting a top 15 result.
Irama? It's clear that his song isn't Due Vite or Fai Rumore. Geolier? A nightmare i hope not to live.
Mahmood? He isn't winning for sure. But I love his song.
Diodato might enter top 5. His song is beautiful but not as grandiose as FR.
I don't think others got a chance to enter top 5. So the games are done.

I hope Geolier will be prevented. The song gives absoltely nothing to me and I was shocked to see him first in the televotes. Now, I understand since the Italy-community explained it here. But I agree, should he win, I doubt that Italy will be in the top 10 this year.

Should he win, I hope we come last... That will really be one of the worst ever songs my country has ever send, up there with "Grande Amore", "We'll live It all again" and "Magic, oh magic".

Yes. Even Ricchi e Poveri (the real surprise nobody talks about, since they are still enjoyable to listen even after all this time: I listen to this song in the radio and it's kinda a hit), or Bnkr44, or Big Mama, or Santi Francesi will be a better choice than Geolier, come on. "I p'me, tu p'te " for me is a waste of four minutes: it will be my toilet break in Eurovision and I skip It everytime It starts. I really, really dislike It with a passion, studio version or live makes no difference at all. I really tried, but I can't stand it. It isn't even the best Geolier song and the only ones behind this in my Sanremo ranking are the Renga/Nek one (a boredom, an authentic snoozefest) and, I know it's unpopular but here I come, the Alfa one (a "Zecchino d'oro" song sang by an adult).

In this forum, you know, I tend to defend our entries from attcks when It Is necessary. But if we send this one I Will be the first one to criticize that choice.

But again, I have faith for Angelina to nail her performance on "Cover Night" with what it's presumed to be a stunning performance in her father's memory and like "La Rondine" fly to Mälmo: that will be well deserved.

"Tuto gold" is such a grower for me. Kind of ignored Mahmood because I disliked Brividi, but now I'm back on the Mahmood train.

I like It more than Soldi and Brividi, so I kinda agree. I just don't want him to win again, but if he will be against Geolier in the final, it's Mahmood all the way for me.

It's simply a great song: It kinda reminds me "Il terzo fuochista" by Tosca (which I adored) in some ways, mixed with ballady and rap parts. Angelina performance was incredible, it's what elevates the song. And to think this girl Is only 22 and has this kind of stage presence at her first Sanremo is just unbelievable. Even Måneskin weren't so dominant on their first exibition like Angelina was Tuesday. She put a real statement there: she said "I'm here for the trophy"! Yes, maybe she will not be as succesful as Måneskin, but she was really really impressive.

A consideration about Annalisa. Gossip broke out that she is pregnant. She denies it at the moment. Surely it's just a noise but until scientific evidence to the contrary She might also believe can manage the situation or her desire to win Sanremo is too big. If she is indeed pregnant, anyone expecting wild dancing at ESC will be disappointed. This fake or real doubt is enough to understand that she will be hindered in some way (leaving until the very end that her most die-hard fan believes that she can win).

A journalist asked her why, thinking she was pregnant. Annalisa explained that last year she had a bad fall down the stairs, she hit a wall and went to the emergency room. So no baby on the way, as well as a possibly pregnant person can very well go down the stairs.

I can't help but be moved by Irama delivery, voice, and emotion. He manages to connect with me 100% as a viewer. Those three minutes leave me with goosebumps and fully absorbed, paying attention only to what's happening on that stage. I'm a fan of Irama, and even though I think his music was better in 2022, he'll definitely have my full support for this edition of Sanremo.

Annalisa song might be the one I enjoy the most when not performed live; I believe the studio version is superior on all levels.

Geolier would be a disaster for Italy; his music doesn't resonate with me at all, leaving me completely indifferent, which is rare for Sanremo. It could possibly be the worst Italian entry since I've been following Eurovision, and Italy has almost always been in my top 10...

I can't follow the 3rd night unfortunately, but curious about the results

Infact it's the final 5 that scares me the most. You don't even know what Neapolitans are capable of when they want... They will support Geolier 'til the end, not for the song but for his background... I hope anybody can dethrone him on cover nights on Friday, because Angelina, Annalisa, Loredana and Mahmood are almost already sure to be in the top 5 because they Will be in everybody's top 5. So, go Irama! If the press lowered Geolier, you may have a chance.

PS: yes, this year I'm not rooting for a song, because I have more than one favourite, but I'm rooting strongly against one: "I p'me, tu p'te" is 28th out of 30 in my Sanremo preferences, I will hate to be represented by it in Eurovision and I will surely not support my country this time if it happens. Sorry. Geolier seems to be a nice guy, but the song is a big no imo. We had lots of better Neapolitan songs in Sanremo which deserved maybe more, but this doesn't do it for me.

I just arrived to the same conclusion this morning and yeah i'm also just rooting against one song this year. Geolier song is just a big no for me. I really tried to replay it a few times but i just don't see anything in it...
I was always a fan of Irama and i love how he interprets live his new song and all the emotion he puts in it.
Also love Mahmood and Annalisa was singing their songs all day today.
Sending Annalisa though would be great cause italy hasn't send a female artist since a long while and sinceramente is such a bop.
And honestly i would be also happy with a win from Angelina Mango she has so much charisma even though la noia isn't my favorite for now.

Tuta Gold is growing on me a lot, but I'll keep him firmly as my 3rd (after La noia and Sinceramente) because I just don't need him in Eurovision so soon. Mahmood seems to be an underdog this year anyway.
