Took me a minute or two to warm up fully but I really like Annalisa's song! Such a catchy chorus and her breath control is amazing

Well I'm disppointed. :( Annalisa follows the dark electro theme we've already heard a few times. She looks amazing as always. It will be a big hit for sure in streaming.

Not seeing it as a winner though. Maybe not even top 5. These types of songs don't win or place super high in Sanremo as we've seen down the years. Kind of disappointed with that chorus as it's far to repetitive.

Annalisa:

She proves herself to be a queen of Pop and a capable artist. The song is quality, pleasant, has rich music but ultimately leaves me with nothing. It's a bit harmless. It might get lost in the group of stronger songs. In Italy it will last until the end thanks to the tremendous fandom.

Ranking:

1. Irama
2. Ghali
3. Clara
4. Negramaro
5. Mannoia
6. Annalisa
7. La Sad
8. Sangiovanni

My first overall ranking (and before the next commercial break, Mahmood is expected between 30/35):
  1. Annalisa
  2. Negramaro
  3. Irama
  4. Clara
  5. Fiorella Mannoia
  6. Sangiovanni
  7. Ghali
  8. La Sad (the only song I don't like... but can't say I dislike it though)
Very good selection till now, even for Sanremo standards. Bravissimo!

Guys as ive told you some pages ago that the Sanremese songs have to be heard more then once.
Not blown away by Annalisa but I have to listen it again.

The pacing of Sanremo is unmatched - placing the most beautiful ballad of last year's entry as an interval act before Irama's song.
Doing some tribute for lost and beloved musicians after Annalisa's up-tempo banger and just before Mahmood making women, men and the audience cry because of so much pain and grief.

Didn't really hear the trap sound from Clara on first listen. I'll need to watch it back.

Yup the verses are partly sang trap style and they change tempo abruptly, it was really difficult to manage that live, and the girl delivered it on point as a hot gun
