You would call 2015 a standard ballad really? It's more operatic honestlyMost of the songs were "conservative" though, 2011, 2015, 2016 were all kinda ballads (but in other genres), but yeah not all were standard male ballads, but still. Something happened in 2018 and in 2019 Italy entered the actual century, but like I mentioned earlier it's like there is a clash of generations in Sanremo where we have seen modernization slowly happening but then the juries fall back in old patterns.
