It seems like ALL the most likely winners (Elisa, Mahmood&Blanco, Irama) are bringing ballads, only Sangiovanni, Rkomi, Achille Lauro and MAYBE La Rappresentante di Lista have a chance of getting in the top 3 with uptempo songs, but I don't think they will win.
(Of course once the songs are released I might change my opinion completely)

From all the newspapers, nearly 15, Mahmood Blanco, Elisa and LRDL have been appreciated mostly.. Somehow sorprised by Rkomi, Darren D'Amico and Rettore Dittonellapiaga.
A bit deluded by Irama,, Michelle Bravi, Sangiovanni and Akille Lauro.

What's the track record of this list? and do we have the list from last year?

From this list it seems that the media gave the best grade to La Reprassentante di lista, follwed by Dargen d'amico and Elisa. Well, Let's see what they have to offer musically!

What's the track record of this list? and do we have the list from last year?

The comments/grades from journalists are not that important. It can mean someone will do very well or very bad in press voting on Sanremo, but someone can be much better placed with press voting in Sanremo than they got a grade/bad comment here and viceversa.

Based on this I only think Mahmood x Blanco and Elisa will do very well overall, probably top3.
LRDL don't seem supported by televote, but who knows, it depends on the song itself.
Either Rkomi or some of the youngsters (possibly Sangiovanni) will join them in top 3.
