@RainyWoods @tuorem

You see, Alketa will be host!!

Evil witch, she will probably demand Elletra wins the jury because she gets the most tweets when she shakes her ass.Maybe she is just making the tea.

Does anyone know when the press get to hear the songs?.Their record is terrible of course, but its still interesting seeing the thoughts.Im crossing everything that Levante delivers something great. The Italian public have never really got behind her in the way she deserves, but im hoping she can change all that at the Ariston.

SANREMO 2020 SONG DESCRIPTIONS (according to Italian journalists who already listened the songs)

SANREMO 2020 DETTAGLI DELLE CANZONI
(nei pareri dei giornalisti italiani che già ascoltavano le canzoni)

What are all of y’all’s opinions?
Che cose pensate voi? 😉
Alberto Urso - classical ballad, not so great reviews
Anastasio - talking blues song about anger with rock instrumental, with a bit of punk
Bugo & Morgan - really good electropop
Diodato - a ballad, with mixed reviews
Elodie - urban song, well-produced
Enrico Nigiotti - sweet ballad in his classic style, kind of unoriginal
Elettra Lamborghini - sounds like her other song “Pem Pem,” contains cringey lyrics
Francesco Gabbani - sweet love song with a happy melody and an instrumental like Occidentali’s Karma, midtempo ballad
Giordana Angi - rock ballad? about her mother, with bad reviews
Michele Zarrillo - underrated uptempo song
Junior Cally - rock song without rapping, he sings it well, great reviews
Paolo Jannacci - basic piano lullaby for his daughter
Irene Grandi - strong rock song with powerful voice
Le Vibrazioni - rock ballad with pop influence
Rancore - political, in his usual style, good to great reviews
Piero Pelù - rock lullaby with pop influence
Pinguini Tattici Nucleari - underwhelming but still in their usual style
Levante - profound and well-liked lyrics, reaching high vocal tones
Marco Masini - sad piano ballad, in his usual style
Riki - basic song with terrible reviews
Rita Pavone - dated pop song, sounds like it came from 1972
Tosca - sweet jazzy ballad, lyrics and vocals are strongest suit (not composition or arrangement)
Raphael Gualazzi - happy and fast, a million things at once (Brazilian influence, electronic, samba, reggaeton)

I despise Madness of Love with every fibre of my being but that Raphael Gualazzi blurb has me very interested.

Based on the names and descriptions, I look forward to Elodie (while hoping "Andromeda" isn't just a typical Mahmood track), Irene Grandi (I still listen to "Un Vento Senza Nome") and Tosca (if it's jazz done right).

I'm curious about Gualazzi and Levante too.

Soo apparently wiwibloggs has reported a scandal of Amadeus throwing a sexist remark on Valentino's partner. He covered it up, stating he's the least sexist person...

Well hosting with eleven women is a choice
