After many years withdraw, Italy now is very fashion is esc: in 2011 get the 2nd place and in 2012 many, many people like the entry...in my view, both ( 2011 and 2012 ) are nothing special ....I can understand the good position of 2011 but I really can not understand why so many people like 2012 entry....!! sorry but nil from me.

Yeh, they actually had better to choose from at San Remo this year as well (including the initial choice) But as with the Swedish song I think the popularity is as much about the style and what is thought more fashionable sounding than anything else. The chorus is ordinary.

I started loving 'Per sempre', that I hated this one. Afterwards it became just bearable to me. Know it's close to reaching my top 10. I think Italy will have another great outcome after last year's success!
