Im afraid just because is come back will get some extra points. The song is for nowhere.

Since the 3rd listening this song became my favourite. The vocals should be still worked out, and I prefer the Italian version .Apart from this, i.m.o. the song has qualities which could make it an "evergreen". It´s old-fashioned, indeed, but not as bororing as so many old-fashioned popsongs in the style of the 70´s and 80´s.
It would be amazing to hear different interpretations of this song by different singers.

This song is simply amazing! The voice, the lyrics, the piano, true gem in this year! I wouldn't be surprised to see it win, at least I know I'm gonna vote for it and to tell you the truth it will appeal to many more people than you might expect. A few days ago at a party I played this song, and my friends who are absolutely indifferent to ESC all asked me who that was and to send them the link of the song. I expect this to top ESC scoreboard this year and not only because it's a comeback!
Italy - 12 points!

I asked this the other page, I guess no one knows.

When will we get the ESC version? This is too long still.

When I've listened to this first, I hated it. After a few listening I started to like. But scream parts still annoy me.

It will do much better than you think! Because it is not appealing to ESC fans, and the reason is that most of them don't like jazz music, it doesn't mean that it will not do well! I guess it is another "hate it or love it" song! And such songs do well, because except of big haters, they have big fans as well! And haters can't vote negatively, since it is not a big brother game!

I think, that juries will honor the Italian entry, because it is a damn good piece of music.

This is no diss to this entry, but I just really love how opera/jazz automatically considered "good quality music" and pop or whatever is not.

I fear ESC is going back to the status it had during the 90's now where we had winners with almost no possibility of becoming any sort of hit afterwards and where the contest was ruled by old-fashion music with very little relevance to the actual contemporary music.

If we'll have the top spots filled with Italy, France and Austria (I think the juries might very well help this happen) then ESC is in real trouble imo.

France might end up in the top 5, but Italy and Austria will most likely not, because the music isn't fail to impress the masses.

I love it, it is New Orleans orchestration with classic italian vocals, a combination which could go very wrong, but here has come out fantastically. Congratulations Italy!

Not a bad song, indeed.....but I think it would have more success if this was 1965 or maybe 1970...lol ... too oldfashioned, sorry but I must say that...we'll see how it will be in D'dorf...good luck:)!

Along with Turkey, it's my joint favourite this year! I adore the jazzy-swingy style (and it's a bit more 'mature' than Kiss Kiss Band Bang was). I'll definitely be voting for it! :D

First, I want to salute the re-entry of Italy in ESC!

The song is good, but I liked more the italian version. Can impress the judges, but I can't think of a top 10 for Rafael.
