Take a look what we've become
It's been so long
Getting you out of my life
I feel so strong
Set me free
Feel my beating heart in perfect
Harmony
Don't let me down
I'ma I'ma Ah
I’ma I’ma Ah
Feeling like in prison
Looking for the reason
I don't wanna say goodbye
Feels like no tomorrow
Everywhere that I go
Babe I'm gonna lose my mind
Just another story
Tell me not to worry
And everything will be just fine
Used to be your treasure
Now I'm gone forever
Think I'm going back in time
Set me free
Feel my beating heart in perfect
Harmony
Don't let me down
I’ma I’ma Ah
I'ma make it on my own
I’ma I’ma Ah
חלאס עם השיגעון
I’ma I’ma Ah
I'ma make it on my own
I’ma I’ma Ah
חלאס עם השיגעון
Life has been so easy
Used to call us cheesy
It was paradise
In my bed so lonely
You're the one and only
Hell I know I paid my price
Clock is ticking tik tak
Everything is צ'יק צ'ק
And I don't know what to do
People tell me honey
יאללה בלאגנים
One day dreams will become true
Set me free
Feel my beating heart in perfect
Harmony
Don't let me down
Set me free
Feel my beating heart in perfect
Harmony
Don't let me down
I’ma I’ma Ah
I'ma make it on my own
I’ma I’ma Ah
חלאס עם השיגעון
I’ma I’ma Ah
I'ma make it on my own
I’ma I’ma Ah
חלאס עם השיגעון
I’m so awesome
Come and get some
What are we living for?
I’m your reason
Spicy season
Like we did before
Let me take you higher
Set the place on fire
2021 degrees
Feel my beating heart and set me free
Set me Free
Set me free
Set me free
Set me free
Harmony
Don’t let me down
Just set me free

So, I managed to listen to it and so far I don't like them as much as I liked Feker Libi. That being said, there are some songs with a lot of potential.

La La Love - it's my favorite beat out of these (bless funk carioca), but these lyrics need to be changed drastically. I don't know who had the idea of releasing a song with
"I I I I want it to infect my generation
party ‘till the morning
‘till The sun is glowing"
whilst we are in the middle of a pandemic................... have some sense, please.

Set Me Free - I can see why this is the favorite of most people, as it's the most commercial/trendy and possibly polished out of the demos.

Shoulders - This is the one I have the most hopes up about. I believe it could turn up in a hot mix of Roots and Feker Libi, which were my two favorites. Also, it has lines in Amharic, which I believe makes it super special (hence being one of the reasons I loved Feker Libi so much). My biggest issue about the demo is that whoever is singing then, they are 💀

Ue La La - I think it's the same opinion I have of La La Love, but I don't like the beat as much. on the other hand, the lyrics aren't offensive.

Can't Stop a Hurricane and Coming Out are both decent but they both sound like filler album tracks and I see them both being easily outshined on the stage. I am not a fan of Rise Up Today but it gets some extra points for the Amharic. I don't care about Spilling Magic. Flying is awful avoid it at ALL costs.

Thanks to Ana that gave me a link where I could listen to the songs ! Here is my ranking after first listening :

Good :

Rise up today

Not bad :

Spilling Magic

Listenable :

La La Love
Flying

Bad :

Can't Stop A Hurrican

My ears are bleeding :

Shoulders
Set me free
Coming Out
Ue La La

Either "Rise Up Today" or "Spilling Magic" for me but this NF is definitely not good, I don't think :il: will be in my top 10 this year

I haven't listened to the demos yet, but based on reactions I think releasing demos in the first place wasn't really the best tactic, especially if they're very "rough" demos as it can all be a bit misleading. I mean clearly they want to only spend resources on re-working 2-3 songs in the end, but it's still a questionable method imho.

I have listened all 9 of them. While they are in demo form, but I do feel they sound very polished for demos.
But they are very underwhelming, as compared to the 4 songs we got from Eden this year.
To me, "Shoulders" and "Set Me Free" sound the best for me.
The fast/mid-tempo tracks are very current and suit Eden very much but then they need alot of work done to outdo the 4 songs Eden got this year. And most of them don't really have the Israeli spin on them, they sound very Americanised.

Stand-Outs (voted for them)
Set Me Free (love the ethnics elements)
Shoulders (very "Roots", so I can see Eden doing this song)

Above-Average
Coming Out
La La Love (the lyrics are really horrible, while I know they want to be positive and do a play about the pandemic situation, but it just doesn't sit well with me)

Average
Rise Up Today
Spilling Magic
Flying
Can't Stop a Hurricane

Bad
Ue La La (this is on the same level as Armenia's "Chains On Me" before the revamp)

Based on the snippets I liked La La Love, Set Me Free and Shoulders the most

Coming Out also sounds nice to me, Ue La La was the only snippet I didn't like

I'll wait for the full version of the songs though

Absolutely agree on these too. Shoulders has the potential to be the next "Roots" if they make the chorus "heavier" in the instrumental. "Set me free" is quite good too but I'm not fan of the "oh oh oh" in the chorus, it's a bit easy. But I'm neither a fan of "Ue la la".

yeah Shoulders is probably the best, have doubts of Israel qualifying tho! With Azerbaijan and Cyprus also brining female bops, perhaps even Romania - Israel might based on these songs not be the strongest of them and I doubt that more than 2 female bops would qualify from the semi 1, when there's already so many locked qualifiers (Australia, Sweden, Russia, Malta and Romania)... But that said they could qualify as 8th-10th position if they have good staging, but still semi 1 is gonna be super strong (all countries mentioned before + Lithuania, Cyprus, Azerbaijan, Belgium, Norway, Ukraine + at least one of countries like Ireland, Slovenia, Croatia, Macedonia and Belarus could surprise and send something really good, so it will be hard.

Shoulders is also my favourite, it definitely fits right in with Feker Libi-Roots-Rakata.
Coming Out has the potential to be a gay fan favourite anthem, and the chorus is really good but I just wish the verses were better. Still early days I suppose.

OK, now I know what "Set Me Free" & "Coming Out" reminds me of.
A song that Clean Bandit will release featuring some female pop vocalist.

Ue la la
Set me free,
La la love

either of them and Israel has good chances to qualify if the songs to come are comparable to last year.
