k with all the people clutching their pearls at this Supposed Horrible Revamp, I listened and... I can understand why the Kobi fans dislike it. The instrumentation is immersion-breaking.

However... why would you want to be immersed in Home, of all songs, anyway? The revamp is shit mostly because the source material was shit to begin with. Home has, and will always be a lump of greasy smarm with the biggest of its many glaring flaws being that its supposed "depth" [Citation needed] was barely skin deep anyway (Who is the "you" that made Kobi "someone". Define "someone" please. It's central to your song, ANSWER THE QUESTIONS, ISRAEL) and that's still there, so.

What kind of post is this? I gelled with this song on first listen and it got me emotional like no other entry this year. They took a fantastic song and ruined it. I'm not a lyrics person normally, but they actually impacted me.

Good thing you can find something beautiful in something I perceive as suffocating, poorly-written and drenched in self-indulgent pathos. It definitely takes character to do so and I wish I had your strength. ^__^

Really like this entry (I think it is great as home entry, big ballads always are - reminds me a bit of the Greek 2006 entry), great staging at the rehearsal (one of my favourites so far) and he wears the best outfit, very smart! But the singing wasn't great! Anyway, Israel is one of my favourite songs this year!

It seems like Kobi is getting a decent staging. I am sure he will be able to do well with his vocals. This song is all about his vocals anyway. Like Georgia, this song truly comes alive only when you see Kobi sings it 'live'.

I do like this, even if we're being drowned by ballads this year. At least this one has a really nice melody. 8 points.

Kobi seems like a very likeable guy. But his ballad is too heavy for me. And I would reckon that Israel is bound for a home result like Norway, Austria, Ukraine, Portugal recently.

I like this even more than I did before, I don't love it, but it's one of the few decent songs in the contest and it's terribly underrated imo.

I'm wondering too how they decided to give 12p from fake jury to Israel but i think it was good because getting 0 from all the juries was unfair.

Honestly, I thought his performance was kind of magical with the Israeli fans cheering like crazy, his vocals were on point, it was emotional. Really liked it!
