Why do they even bother... 35 episodes and they finish with this one.
They've kicked him out quite a few times and now, out of the bunch of 5 where even Shefita was more enjoyable than this guy.... meh.

Not a fan of the chosen act, will wait to see what the entry will sound like but he doesn't do it for me. Not impressed by the vocals and really not a fan of the style, also personality wise he comes across as a bit amateur. Oh well, will wait and see what the entry will be like. I hope for something ethnic rather than some operatic ballad which is what I dread will come out of this choice.

artist selections mean nothing whatsoever. no point into talking about a country's chances without a song. remember when armenia selected artsvik and she was a tacky unimaginative ballad singer and then they gave her fly with me? anything can happen.

I'd say artist selections have at least some meaning - sometimes you can see that the chosen artist has potential and is worth keeping an eye on. It was certainly that way last year with Netta, who started building hype even before the release of Toy because of her style and charisma. But yes, it's too early to write Kobi off at this stage, as he could absolutely get something that works for him as per your Artsvik example.

I really hope we'll get an entry in Hebrew again (or at least partly) and something with ethnic flavors being on home ground again, something in a similar style of the 2008 entry would fit well , but I'm afraid we get something more closer to "Made of Stars"
