I think it is definitely an improvement but it won't change the fact that the song is just weak overall. The bridge part is neat though but that's about it. The incredibly weak chorus just totally ruins it for me.

All I can do is compare this to Maya's song...and I want to cry
forget Chen with Maya singing Ehyeh we might hav reached the top 5 :(

The new version put the biggest smile on my face.

The chorus, although still not very strong, got much stronger, and the upbeat sound makes it stick in your head. Dana, you didn't fail to impress me.
That revamp is catered for gays!

Yeah I'm sad, too. It just bothers me that Israel voted for the name instead of the song but I wish them of course the best of luck cause I'd never root against a country; just no votes from me :(

Chen's performance was really weak during the National Final, IMO.

I wasn't referring to Chen (but for the record Dana was pretty bad herself). There were several songs in the running that were a lot better than Ding Dong (why do I always want to add "The witch is dead") such as Maya's song.

Maya didn't enter her song in Kdam this year...

I really think this song is just bland and I already had low expectations for the new version that were eventually met. This sounds like a terrible remix you'd find on some single release or something.

I think whatever potential it had at qualifying before is now gone.

Oh my!! How can they make it worse? And the thought that I started liking the chorus before, now well everything falls apart. It sounds so messy. :?
