2006 was very oldfashion and dull, I wouldn't call it a risk, just a bad entry.

But there are good and bad risks aswell. 2007 was build around raw humor rather than the music.

Nikka and Knob would be cool contemporary music, so in those cases the "risk" doesn't lie in making a humorous point or something like that, it's the music.

I think Israel really needs to take a risk now, because although sending nice ballads, now people are getting a little tired of it.

Agree! Henree is a really good composer imo!

I hope Nikka's entry will be composed by Henree. I really liked Henree's entry for Boaz in the 2008 selection aswell, better than the winner imo.

Russian, Ukrainian etc. immigrants consist of nearly 18-20% of population, they are Israeli citizens as well. If it's possible to send a song in English (non-official language) then Russian would be good too



ps. Btw, Dana collaborated with Israeli/Russian musicians too on the recording of the album + she performed in a duo with Ukrainian band (and didn't mind to represent us @ESC) ))) I don't mind something like Hakol Ze Letova album or her new material. I think that she's improved since "Diva" a lot.
