Ireland could have had a song like this... but apparently, all these 6 had winners written all over them!

I don't even like this song but it just goes to show how fundamentally out touch with reality the delegation is.

I mean, songs here sounded nice in studio, but they didn't tell us most of the singers couldn't sing live 💀

Wild Youth is the only option guys, please make the good choice

It´s the only song which might be sneaking into the GF IF :ie: gets REALLY lucky.

The others have NO CHANCE TO QUALIFY.

Not even that gurl who´s better than Kate Bush, Billie Eilish and Lana Del Rey.

WINNERS!!!! ALL SOUND LIKE WINNERS!!!

IRISH PRIDE xheart

These first two had the idea they were at some lame karaoke party I guess. God it's bad.

And I fear that One Direction meets Coldplay meets Kodaline wins.

I don´t love that song either but that´s a well-established act, at least and people don´t have to worry about their vocals and they would clearly be mesmerising/not being overlooked (+ you´ve got some authentic Celtic influences.. such things still work at Eurovision).

Isn't this year's semifinals 100% televote? I honestly can't see anyone in europe voting for any of these songs...

I will respectfully say that this national final needs Jesus. I only like Hawaii (I too need Jesus) and Too Good For Your Love which would need a heck of a tonne of polishing up for the contest.

Johnny's song hit a spot with me as the topic it touches is very close to home. I found it moving. At the same time though, I feel it's gonna be a big struggle to get that message across to Europe. He's an old punk who can barely hold a note. I hate "It's not a song for Eurovision" comments but here I can understand them. At the same time though, what else is there to choose?

Me neither but I can totally see Wild Youth getting a couple of points and Ireland is in the smaller semi and I don´t expect :lv: and :mt: to qualify :D they might sneak it (I don´t believe it but theoretically, it´s kinda possible)
