That's the problem with some Western European countries. We tend to think that sending artists who don't need Eurovision shouldn't be sent to Eurovision. That's probably why BBC hasn't submitted songs by Hurts and Emelie Sandé and James Blunt yet even though all of them said that they would like to represent the UK.
I guess it makes more sense to send artists who are newcomers and/or need Eurovision to get some exposure like Surie, Electro Velvet and Michael Rice xD

This,it should be a healthy mix between newcomers and well-known established artists, between current and traditional sounds, but a lot of broadcasters are into extremes and send the same type of artist/song over and over again.

Theatre production company ThisIsPopBaby will stage Eurovision 2020 entry.....

station heads promise that details of the artist and song will come soon...

I'm not 100% sure James Blunt and Emilie Sandé would really follow through? It's one thing saying it in an interview, but another to actually do it.

Soule is brilliant, and ThisIsPopBaby are fantastic theatrists. I think we could actually have a chance this year!
