That's the problem with some Western European countries. We tend to think that sending artists who don't need Eurovision shouldn't be sent to Eurovision. That's probably why BBC hasn't submitted songs by Blue and Emelie Sandé and James Blunt yet even though all of them said that they would like to represent the UK.
I guess it makes more sense to send artists who are newcomers and/or need Eurovision to get some exposure like Surie, Electro Velvet and Michael Rice xD
