I still think Ireland has one of the best songs in this year's competition. Unfortunately the staging, her voice and the backup singers ruined everything.

Very true. Song itself was on my top5 but even I wouldn't have let that performance through

So glad Europe didn't buy a song that tried so hard to sound like last year's winner in disguise. The girl had a good vocal performance, but all this sounded so staged.

Uh, her vocal performance was terrible. It probably cost them the jury vote on Wednesday as well.

It's such a shame really that Can Linn chose Kasey to sing. She didn't do the song justice. It could've been quite a different result yesterday had there been a strong singer and better choreography.

This song sounded WAY too much like last years winner. And I didn't really 'get' the outfits and stage colours. If they didn't tell me that this was Irelad I would have thought that she was representing an eastern country.

The song doesn't look like "Only Teardrops" . And why? Cause this music is actually tranditional Irish and Denmark seems that was influenced by this music... Now back in the actual song I have to say that the song is still a good entry, the songer wasn't horrible live but this performance :?

They can use the MF rejects and put them into a second chance NF to represent Ireland :D They use a lot of swedish writers and producers in their song so why not go one step further.

How did Ireland select their entrant when they won 4 out of 5 years?

I think Ireland, like the uk have suffered from the televoting and now no one wants to do it... Even our current entrant had reservations.

This was far the worst performance of second semi. I can't decide was was worse, her singing, stage or her styling. However well deserved fail!
Better luck next year Emerald Isle
