People were applauding her because it was hilarious. At the start of the show she also blamed the Eastern countries for the downfall of Eurovision and said the old Western countries should all be automatically in the final.

I kick myself for watching Melodifestivalen instead of this. It's just I thought the five songs on offer were so bland, I assumed Melodifestivalen was a no brainer but gosh was I wrong.

You do realise Ireland was on Friday, and MF was on Saturday? You could have watched both.

Irish legend Linda Martin had a massive barmy with some man who was complaining about how the national selection wasn't a fair playing field (which is true, it wasn't). Linda Martin then stands up and walks over to this mentor in the audience who refused to be seated with the others and then Linda, boy does she give the man some lip. He wasn't used to speaking to a woman with brains.

Linda Martin for Ireland 2015!

Too legenadary to be true!! xheat

The song is a good tune. Her live performance is weak though, and the dancers are like replicas of the Ryan Dolan's last year. It seems like some adrenaline and drama need to be injected into the performance... The choirs does resemble 'Only Teardrops' too.

I had to share this comment on the entry's video

This song is identical to Ryan Dolan's song Only Live Survives some bits slow and then a fast chorus and Ryan came last which the same will happen with this theres so many songs like it that's why Eoghan Quigg should have won.

Gosh, the unintentional comedy of some people.

Oh drama !!!! xbow

but what exactly are they arguing about?

Something to do with Linda being on Louis Walsh's pay check. Also the man isn't happy that a boy from One Direction with 18 trillion followers asked his fans to vote for Eoghan Quigg.

Maybe someone who watched the national final can elaborate more?

Ah Louis was the mentor of the Quigg act right? And Quigg is also from that X-Factor show or whatever?

Well, if that's so then I totally understand the criticism...

It's because she's way more exciting than a song penned by Jonas Gladnikoff and friends...

Actually the song is amazing, but OK.
