Anything from this tag. Seriously I've been going through it as a form of procrastination from essays and it's got the best Irish music.

Also something Celtic-trance like this.
Watching this is amazing, listening to it is just so soothing, and I've watched friends sing like this live and it's like entering another dimension, it's so brilliant, and they've told me they just transcend wherever they are and it's almost mystically therapeutic because they just go on for hours.
It'd work so so well on a stage so intimate as Malmo's, I can see it starting with minimal lighting and just a slow fade as the song goes on, resulting in a massive ending with bright green and white lights. Ugh it'd work so good.

Another great choice would be Kodaline, something similar to High Hopes would be awesome!

I hope Ireland will indeed go with some like celtic music. I think they could easily win with a song like that.

I agree, something not cheesy but going for something Celtic could be sooooo good :D

Nikki Kavanagh maybe, something like her 2011 song. Really bad decision to send Jedward instead of her that year. :(

I'll say what I said this time last year: my ideal Irish ESC act would be a collaboration between Damien Rice and Lisa Hannigan. Knowing that won't happen though, I'm looking forward to seeing the 5 nobodies RTÉ will pluck randomly off the street, put on a stage and force them to sing shitty songs, before sending one of them off to Eurovision.

Would people stop asking for that woman, very few people in Ireland know who she is.

Also while we're doing the wishlist here, can we PLEASE send our entry as Gaeilge?!

NO!

Jedward in 2011 were actually great! Nikki would have struggled qualify to the final even.
