In the days since the contest, 'Lipstick' has gone to #1 in iTunes charts in Ireland, Sweden, Germany, Austria, and is doing very well in about ten other countries.
It is a very catchy pop song and Jedward's performance was memorable.

Ireland was a love or hate songs so I'm not too surprised about the outcome. Far from my personal taste I'm glad that Ireland managed to do well without having to send another traditional irish ballad. And it was incredibly fun in the hall, people went nuts. Good luck to Jedwards, I may not be buying your music but I have a feeling that you're going to be around for a while!
