They were out of tune for the first minute or so, messy camera work, annoying jumping, terrible clothing = formula for success! Congratulations Ireland. :)

They were clumsy in a cute way, the vocals weren't good in a cute way, they weren't synchronised in a cute way, the clothes were indeed horrible in a cute way, everything was bad in a cute way!

Overall, the surprise was not them qualifying but me being happy for it! I really loved it!

I don´t know why, but I also love this song. They are really crazy and also in German TV you can see Jedward all over again. So I think, they will get points from the viewers tomorrow - but I´m not sure about the jury.

they were funny and I liked them but if the twins win it will be a disaster for the contest.

Well deserved! Hater can hate!

This is one of the most catchiest and up to date songs in this year's contest.

2 years ago on the X Factor everyone (including me) hated these 2. Now everyone loves them after last night. I hope they do what Dana did and run for the Irish Presidency :D

Re: ÉIRE - Ireland 2011

Una was tweeting about ESC on Saturday but I don't think she would so it when she is active in The Saturdays.

BTW Una and Vanessa are great singers. They can both sing live, Una won a regional Irish song festival.

I can't think of a single Irish act that could do it. Most big Irish acts are indie bands at the minute and they would never do ESC.

So true. I'd love it if the Script performed in Eurovision with something like "Breakeven" or "The man that can't be moved" :D But they'd never do it.

Okay...

Maybe I've been rude last night, because I was still shocked and angry for Slovakia and Israel, but after some listenings, I must say, that this song is stronger than it can be when you listen to it for the first time. Not the best, but not the worst. Anyway, I think they deserve their qualification ;)

When firstly hear that song I thought that Ireland didn't want to qualify and sent this song.Smart for them to send something funny...but I prefer other funny performances during ESC years than this one!I even prefer more Portugal this year than this one...the real funny entrance all these years was Verka!!!Anyway good luck!

They are not my favourite but I can understand the reason of their qualification. But in the final I wouldn't see that mad guys in the top-15

'Lipstick' is already in the iTunes charts of TEN countries - and this has happened in the past 24 hours (except in Ireland, of course, where it is now #1, after many weeks in the chart).

It is at #7 in Sweden, #34 in Germany, #29 in Austria, #51 in Finland - and moving up in UK, Denmark, Norway, Belgium, Switzerland ...

This is more than any other contender.

If Eurovision wants a Europe-wide pop hit with this year's winner, the strongest candidate is certainly 'Lipstick'.

Go, Jedward!!
