Intrusive adverts on Android/iPhone/Desktop

Exactly - I understand that ads such as banners will be required but the ones that literally plonk themselves square in the middle of a forum home page causing links to set threads to become almost un-clickable, that's not okay. Tbh I'm kinda used to them now, but it would be great if they could at least be limited to dedicated areas where they fit within the design of the website/forum.

I agree with the two posts before this one. I am totally okay with ads, as long as they aren't in the way of the threads. I am though a little worried and don't like the lack of answers to us that is wondering about this. I understand that we got busy lives, and that we now has summer and that many of us are on vacations and stuff, but a little note that "We are still investigating this" or "We have decided this because bla bla" would have been welcomed so that we at least know what is going on.
