In jesc i can understand it because there are only 13 countries involved.

What I would like to see again in 2012 is the use of live instruments or the orchestra.
This can make a real difference for some songs i believe

^ I also like that 'live music' idea, and another thing that should be brought back is the semifinal voting system where televoting decides 9 songs to pass on and the juries make one other song get to the final. (But there the 50/50 system is good to stay!)

So does every counting system. Weird how some "fans" want so badly the contest to be ruined by Disney ballads and American pop cheese. Anyway, this topic is not about televoting or bloc voting.

I do agree with this as well. This would actually be very fair. Though, I don't know how it would pan out in terms of revenue.

I think they should allow one phone number to vote for multiple entries. However I agree that they should ban multiple messages voting for the same contestant. I'm not sure the broadcasters would want to lose all that revenue though.

I'm very hesitant about the voting issue. I think the problem lies beyond televoting or not. I think the voting system needs a *complete* revamp, and yes that would include modifying the "12 points" system. The voting sequence is just insufferably long, and at the same time horribly confusing.
