So happy Ísold & Helga got through. Clearly the strongest of the night. Not a winner though. I expect them to change it to English for the final. Dimma sounds like a dated rock song that would get a bottom 3 in the semifinal. Clearly the public like it enough to put it through though.

Brynja Mary's staging was cute the song would struggle at Eurovision. I think Elísabet would be most deserving of a wild card should it come from semi 1. She brought good energy by was quite pitchy. Kid Isak was just boring live. The song never really changed gears.

Oculis Vedere...ABSOLUTE CHILLS. It would be a crime if she doesn't qualify tonight, her staging is simple but effective in giving a haunting, other-worldly vibe.

Iva was fantastic. A few things to work on be she has the standout song of this selection.

I am glad she slayed it. Absolutely brilliant and should represent Iceland.

I totally forgot this was going on ! Thank you for posting the vids.
The results were expected. Sad to see Nina go, her song is like a fresh breeze on a sunny day in winter, not enough to go to Rotterdam but still enjoybale nonetheless.
I wasn't a fan of Dadi Freyr at first but his song is growing on me a lot (the icelandic version especially) and his performance is iconic.
This means there are 3 songs I would be fine with winning in the final. Thank you Iceland you once again delivered
