I haven't listened to all the songs yet. In fact, I went straight to just one. My hands were literally (I'm not joking) up in the air during the final chorus of Hera Bjork's song. Wow. What an absolute stunner. It's so soulful and powerful. It sounds like it could be a Donna Burke (of Metal Gear Solid soundtrack fame) song. I'd kill for this at Eurovision. Could potentially end up my favourite song of this whole NF season. What an amazing first impression. I need to experience the live performance of it. It's going to be quite something.
I wanted disco number late 90s, early 00s Mf style!
Did you like her ESC entry in 2010, and her Dansk MGP entry in 2009?
Yes, Je ne sais quoi is legendary. It literally caused a volcano to erupt, disrupting travel across Europe, forcing people to reach the contest by boat. Can't get much more iconic than that. Her Danish attempt was nice enough too.
This song for 2019 is everything though. I'm smitten for it. I'll allow it to be a ballad because it's a ballad done so well, with so much warmth and power to it, and the melody is beautiful. Both versions are lovely, but Icelandic one I think is better.
Only one thing is clear: Iceland needs to be represented by three people at once in 2019
I know.. they both stand out. And it's a pretty weak line-up (i don't think any of them would make it to my top 15 in romania & moldova)There are 2 bands consisting of 3 pax..

I just think it would be cool if they send somthing like that to eurovision
