This is such horribly sad news to read. Viszlát Nyár was up there with my favourite Eurovision entries from 2018. One of the few times I thought that rock was represented genuinely at the contest. Ors was an incredible performer and lead man. Twenty nine is no age to go. He had so much more to give us. He'll be tearing it up now though in the next life. Rock in peace, man 🤘

The only thing I'm f***ing, is stupid
It's horrible to wake up to news like this. Viszlát Nyár was one of my favorites that year and AWS had a lot of potential, but Örs' journey ended here. Such a waste.
Thank you Örs for doing what you loved, I hope you will find peace in the afterlife.

Oh no! This is awful news. Very scary how life can change dramatically for worse in the blink of an eye. :(

My prayers go to his family and his bandmates, there is a very rough road ahead of them.

Keeping cherishing "Viszlát Nyár" and AWS's discography is the best tribute we all can pay to Örs from now on. Another talent leaving us so early, I can't believe it.

Well, even though I wasn´t a huge fan of their entry, this is really horrible news!!

I wish his family and friends all power to get through this loss. I know how they feel, since I lost my father about one year ago because of cancer.

RIP

I still can't believe it. It's so tragic in every single way. I mean, got married last year and a month later being diagnosed with leukemia and dying a few months later. Jesus. Why is cancer like that and why does it keep ruining lives.

Hee didn't deserve to go now. I just... can't. At least, I hope he is at peace with his dad in heaven now. And all my feelings for the bandmates, his wife and the fans. We could truly connect to you through your work and we thank you for blessing us with it.

It's such a shame that Hungary is out :/ "A Dal" really started to shape up as a pretty interesting national selection and it's obviously going strong amongst the Hungarian viewers (otherwise the concept would have been dropped by now) so it's really sad to see them out.

The juries in ESC are to blame for this but still it's a loss.

Why are the juries to blame here? Hungary missed the final one time this previous decade. Is that reason enough to rage quit Eurovision? A lot of countries would kill for Hungary's qualification record.

I think Hungary just waited for a "reason" to withdraw from the contest. Looking at those in charge of the country, it is obvious that the government just wanted to leave everything that has with Europe to do, even ESC. So when Joci failed, because of being in a pretty strong semi and having a song that didn't stand out enough, then they took their chance and ran away. It is sad, since they did so well for a long time and had amazing songs in the 2010s. I hope they come back one day, which they probably will eventually.

@Schlagerman1 Yes, that. Hungary is doing a Turkey here. They want to isolate themselves from the political and cultural influences of Europe. It's just a matter of time if more countries in the east will follow the same path, we are seeing similar development in Poland as well.
