Some people are talking about plagiarism in the Hungarian song as well...

I don't see the plagiarism but anyway, the composers let the report decission over the record company ;)

The song is pretty good, but I'm always worried with this kind of songs because they usually sound much weaker when they are performed live. It's hard to produce that pumping effect out of studio.

This is what worries me too. You need amazing vocals for this type of song to work on stage, and not too many gimmicks - if you don't want to end like Kate Ryan in Athens of course. Her live vocals are not a patch on the studio version, judging by the performance at the press conference. Plus they need to replicate those backing vocals near the end.

Please dont judge her based on the press conference performance, she was sick there.
She should have declined to perform... -_- Now everywhere I read ppl saying she cant sing.

She isnt as impressive vocalist as Magdi Rúzsa, but certainly not a bad singer. Here's a video from a concert: Kati singing a ballad (From Sarah With Love), an uptempo (When Love Takes Over) and the Hungarian version of her ESC song.

I love that song, no i adore it, but it needs a very strong performance and a lot of hard-work & a terrific choreography to do well in my opinion.

This isn't the kind of song someone can sell well standing alone on a stage i believe.

I hear no plagiarism here. The song is a bit similar but it's not identical.
Everyone who's not deaf can hear that. The two songs' melodies are not even similar, they just both have this "choral" sound.
At least in the case of the Danish song and Andreas' song there are a few similar bits, but not even thats plagiarism, but here not even that. But of course Spanish fans now started their hate campaign on YT and post this nonsense to every video of Kati. oOX

It was in a Hungarian tabloid last week and the composer of the song, Viktor Rakonczai called the accusation ridiculous and said:
"I have never heard about this singer. The style is comparable, but other than that they are as similar as two cars for both having four wheels. If you write down the notes to the songs, you can immediately see there're not even two notes coming after each other in the same order. They are free to show it to any music expert. [...]"

This is a great tune. It is a stand-out in this year's contest and should be pushing for top spot. 12pts from this UK jury.

This does sound better but my god, she can't dance to save her life! Perhaps that's even better, she should just stand there belting out the tune without any complicated routine.

It's leading now in Spanish sites as well, after taking advantage of Sweden and Spain. I like the song thouth it's not my favourite, but if that means that ESC is in beautiful Budapest next year, then yeah, a Hungarian victory is welcome! :D
