HRT recorded 1st part of show "Ususret Dori" (the show before Dora in 2 parts in which we'll hear the songs) yesterday. We'll hear first 12 songs on 19th February - 20:15 CET on HRT2. :D The photos from recording 1st part of the show - http://www.eurosong.hr/galerija/?c=Dora-2010

I think Franka is the right choice. It is rhytmic, ok song maybe is a bit in retro-style (late 80's), but I think many people like it.... Furthermore, the song is original, so I trully hope we will escape the lame comments like last year (you remember the comments about "Pjesma za kraj", so many senseless rumours that it is the plagiate of "One way ticket" blah blah blah etc..) This year FINALLY no way that the song is plagiate, because there is NO similar song, indeed!! The next ace is her voice. Her voice is good, nice, she can sing even stronger. But I think that many things will depend about coreography. Last year she had the awesome coreography with those dancers and the figure she made in intermezzo was amazing (round in the air)! ...lol... :cool: ) So ....GO FRANKA....:)! :cool: :lol: :D :p

I still believe Franka wouldn't really do anything in Oslo. The song just has no charm that "Pjesma za kraj" had. She sings nice, but that's not enough.

On the other hand, if Franko doesn't win (my fave by far), then i hope Femminem will (it grew on me a lot), or at least Teska Industrija.

Tonight is first show in which HRT will present the first part of songs. :)

I found somewhere one song that was sung on english, but ofcorse on Dora she will sing on Croatian.

Bety Belle - Ne - nothing special, rock song
?ani Stipani?ev - Nek nam bude lijepo - Alfi Kabiljo is famous artist, but I don't like this song :oops: Nice lyrics, but boring song and perfomance (too typical, the singer is only standing and singing) ... I'm afraid this could win :? :x
Valungari - Vol or ne vol - interesting perfomance, but this song is one of the worst on Dora ...
Doris Teur - Ti me ne zaslužuješ - nice ballad
Giuliano - Moja draga - too simple perfomance, nice song, but it's not for ESC :(
Rivers - Bez tebe - nice song (I think Tamara Obrovac writes nice songs usually), but I think it'll be in bottom 3 :(
Dražen Žanko – Moja ljubav jedina - typical perfomance (only standing) and boring song for me :(
Grupa VIVA – Zadnja kap života - nothing special, nice song and perfomance
Franka – Na tvojim rukam - I think the best song and perfomance tonight (hmmmm ... but I think she didn't show the real perfomance tonight)
Filip Dizdar – Sunce - one of better songs on Dora ... at least it's not a ballad :lol:
Martina Vrbos – Ti i ja - one of better ballads on Dora, but I think it won't do good on Dora or ESC :(
Žiga i Druge – Blagdani - I actually like this song, but Miroslav Škoro style is definitely not for ESC ...

I listened to all of the songs and there isnt much to say. Dora misses the mark again more so than last year. I have to wonder about the quality of the songs that get rejected in favour of the shortlisted ones. :? Anyways I think the best choice would be Martina Vrbos with "Ti i ja". The rest of the songs didn't leave any sort of impression on me.

So far I think that Feminnem would be the best option, even though Tihomir Kozina is my fave by a milestone. But his performance in Ususret Dori was not that convincing. :(
Most likely Feminnem will sing their song in English, show their boobs and bring Croatia at least to the final.

Martina Vrbos will have the best dress, something spectacular. :D

Dancers ok, but his performance, his moves, etc. was weak.

Take a look at him, all by himself on stage, with a fantastic song - and it's just average.
Take a look at Giuliano, all by himself as well, with an average song - and the whole thing is growing.

There is an English version of Doris Teur's song on YT, this would also be cool. But nobody knows her, so nobody will vote for her.
