I think Zanamari Lalic would be a great choice... I liked her song Kako da te volim, that was on Dora few years ago...
and yeah, Feminnem did a great job, bad luck put them in second semifinal :(

Kako da te volim was awesome!! Actually that entire Dora was good!!

Hmmm songs in English? I'm not sure on that- I was always proud that Croatia a least sung in Croatian...but I don't think Dora is right selection process- I think singers like karma, colonia or Lana would be best..they're modern and could get following in other European countries.

Colonia, Lana, Franka, Bojan, Karma, E.T, Zanamari - they would be an excellent choice :D

And I'm of course proud when songs are in Croatian, but I think if we want to achieve success on ESC, then we should sing in English ;)

Don't think that... 2004 didn't do better than 2005/2006. ;)

well, hasn't it?

Well, I thought it is, but I have a faith it'll be better, especially after this year's ESC. I think this one in Oslo was very good, regardless Croatia's failure.

@94ayd: When I said, it's better that songs are in English, then I also meant they should be at least good songs. And "You are the only one" is not one of the good songs  at least not to me ;)

me too, but there are still too many exceptions which make circus of it.

They surely deserved more than 33 points in the semi  I thought they were 11th or 12th........but with more points definetly.

I support the change of the selection process, Dora would be even weaker next year I guess (Franko was my fave this year, and I only liked the songs of Teska Industrija, Franka and well....Femminem as well), and it's better to make some sort of an internal selection.

Maybe Colonia would be interested in that case :D

i thought about Colonia, too. they are losing popularity, and they could do really good in ESC. so that would bring them very up.
i would like to see Dora as Israeli Kdam: first choose a singer, give him few songs to perform and choose among those songs. that would be the best.

Colonia singing song in English would be awesome. Besides, Indira is also a great entertainer, I'm sure, she would give Europe amazing performance.

Why are there the same discussions in different topics?

You're talking about 2011 matters.

Apart from that I would love to quote Niamh Kavanagh: "I wanted to be selected by the Irish because of my song and not because I am the only choice."
