Jerusalem? Baku? Did they change songs and singers?

I think everything will be more clear after the first rehearsals. Every year I see clear favourites exploding into nothing, it will be the same this year.

Yeah, but take a look at Rybak last year. This year will be very hard to predict, and even though i dislike Israel, and don't find Azerbaijan THAT special, they COULD win, who knows.

Sure, Rybak was clear favourite last year, it would have been a surprise if he hadn't won. But I have been to soooo many ESCs, every year people found new favourites during the rehearsals, whilst others collapsed like a house of cards.
One example: only a few people would have set their money on "Molitva". On the other hand Greece was on top for so many people, but after the first rehearsals where Sarbel showed that his ability to sing and perform live was... let's call it "weak", nobody was talking about him anymore.
Or who would have guessed that Finland would win? I remember being in Split the week before travelling to Athens and watching a TV magazine. A few acts were presented, one of them were Lordi. The reporter said "it's nice that Lordi are taking part, but as always, Finland will not even pass to the final". :D

So... who knows... maybe I can welcome you all in Ljubljana 2011

actually, last 2 years there were not surprices about winner, Bilan was even larger favourite in Belgrade.
this year is really hard to predict. but still, i would put my money on Bratislava 2011 (nor i wouldn't be surprised if we would have Chi?in?u, Tirana, or even Yerevan, Copenhagen or Istanbul)

Wow, i didn't know you were going to ESCs every year, Lidija?

Awesome, i've been to ESC only once  When it was here in Belgrade. Even though i am a OGAE member, i don't think i'll ever attend ESC outside of Serbia  Yeah, i agree, we should wait for the rehearsals, then we will surely have a bigger insight. Just like ixic said, it is very unpredictable this year, and it will be very exciting as well.

It could be Zagreb 2011 as well, who knows. I don't think it will happen, but i won't be surprised if it does.

It'll be my 9th time this year. Woooow!

Once I said I will only stop when I would have to return to a place where I had been before. :D
From all the years, Istanbul and Helsinki were probably the best. The chances for Slovenia are very small to ever win, the chances for the country I was born in not much bigger... but Croatia would deserve being the host again after some brilliant entries like Danijela, Doris, Boris or Severina.

9th? Wow, respect! I'm only up for my third in Oslo.
It'd be great to have Zagreb 2011, the song is growing on me and I must say it is one of the strongest ballads of this year!

This new girl Nika has amazing voice and tenx God that Nikol left the band.
I think Feminnem benefited by bringing Nika, she is a real refreshment for the band.

Nika is a coloratura soprano and she's starting to use her melisma very well, all the technical singing stuff aside, yeah, i agree with you, that girl can sing her ass off! Neda is a dramatic sporano (yeah, surprisingly the term used is correct) and she also uses her melisma from time to time and kicks ass. Just to explain, melisma is is the singing of a single syllable of text while moving between several different notes in succession or more simpy put, used to doing vocal riffs (C. Aguilera, M. Carey, I. Kindl, M. Husar)

It would be truly awesome if somehow Ljubljana managed to host the ESC a.k.a. Slovenia winning this year. Ljubanjana is one of the most beautiful cities in entire Europe (along with Maribor imo) so good luck. And i mean it, GOOD LUCK, 'cause you know you're gonna need it unfortunately ;) Despite the song, i'm definately voting for you, 12 points to Ljubljana :D

I don't expect Slovenija to proceed to the final, but I guess the song will be a blast in Euroclub.

However, I hope to see one of the nicest guys from Cakovec in Dora next year. Bojan has been to Opatija this year supporting Carla and Nika, so it's now just a small step for him onto the stage. He liked it there. :D

Eh, he can be one of the nicest guys in the entire world but if they don't make a fitting song for him it ain't gonna happen. Mediterranean pop is what they said they would make him perform and what kind of sound his album would have, which to me is just pure crap, i'm just not sure if he agreed with it or didn't have a choice.
Anyway, my wish is for Croatia to send someone who's got pipes, and i mean REAL PIPES, someone who can sing their ass off. No smokey mirrors, no masks, no hype, no complicated coreography, just him/her blowing everyone away with his/her voice.

This year, first time ever, HRT is showing video of Dora's winning song at least 10 times ar day. Last night they showed video 5 times in 3 hours, and after that Feminnem performed they song on show "Stars are singing".

I think that HRT is proud that finally, after so many years, they've chosen right song that can decently represent us in Europe. Newt week English, Italian and Russian versions will be released.

I cannot wait other versions, especially Italian. When we will hear them?
Also, I think that they have too do a french version. It is a nice language
for that kind of song...

I'm glad you agree :D. Do you go to a music scool? It seems you know a lot about music. I don't have musical education but I had a subject "Music arts" in high school but it was not that good :|
