strange scenario (possible though).2007:
50/50: or as the winner
Jury only: as the winner
strange scenario (possible though).
I think juries love ballad, but not that much! Turkey was doing okay will all the juries who voted on 2003 night maybe not winning the jury voting but 50/50 i believe in it, France would have done much better i think as they received 8 from bosnia & 6 from romania who used juries.Russia would've suffer a lot with juries & 50/50 i think.
I2001 had also a couple of juries voting and it was all about France and then Greece & a few points for Estonia, i don't get the idea denmark would've won the juries vote
And do you know about that link about 1998
http://www.kolumbus.fi/jarpen/ Go check the 1998 page and click on backup juries results it shows France and Ireland would've done so much better with juries and it's totally killed the Croatia would've win theories and don't forget Ireland, Hungary, Turkey and Romania used juries too on the big night, the Uk would've won i think
I don't thing that Russia was suffer a lot with the jury for that time, cause they was send great songs before Bilan won and could be well apreciatte by them, but Turkey, Croatia & Macedonia they that had suffered much, cause Turkey would have neither won and Macedonia neither was been so unfair intro the finals.
Denmark was highly acclaimed and public pressure may have coerced to the jury to vote them are so high, but I would have preferred to Greece as the winner.
France that year wasn't favoresed by the jury, the song itself was boring and withiting the juries not even been saved, instead they should have done with Slovakia cause was an great song and was unfairly ignored as almost all the Slovak songs in Eurovision by this therefore don't returned in over 10 years, finally i agree that UK should won that year, but Croatia could came seconds behind them.
Well no prediction necessary for 2007, those 50/50 jury-televote results were released back then:
01. Serbia (1)
02. Russia (3)
03. Hungary (9)
04. Ukraine (2)
05. Belarus (6)
06. Germany (19)
07. Greece (7)
08. Latvia (16)
09. Georgia (12)
10. Bulgaria (5)
11. Moldova (10)
12. FYR Macedonia (14)
13. Bosnia & Herzegovina (11)
14. Turkey (4)
15. Sweden (18)
16. Slovenia (15)
17. Armenia (8)
18. Finland (17)
19. Spain (20)
20. Romania (13)
21. France (22)
22. Lithuania (21)
23. United Kingdom (23)
24. Ireland (24)
Well you didn't noticed i was speaking of the year 2003, not Russia in Eurovision in general.
We know the votes from a few juries from that year and of course it's enough to draw big conclusions from them but for me it's clear they loved Belgium & Turkey much more and then each of them had a best shot at winning the jury votes and consequently the 50/50.
Well there was also a few juries who voted instead of televotes and Denrmark got no point from the 100% juries. France, Greece & Estonia did so much better.
Should have Russia & Bosnia used the televotes Estonia, Greece & France would've got some points as they did it everywhere else and so be likely to be before denmark in a 50/50 vote.
Denmark did much better with the few 50/50 of the night thanks to televote i believe but still a lot less of Estonia.
Thereby it's only logical to estimate either Greece or France won the jury and Estonia was top 5/10.
I find it hard to tell who would've won the 50/50 that year but i'm ready to predict it wasn't denmark.
I'm not really sure i understood what you mean
Did you check the link i post
We know the jury results from 13 juries; that's a great number and enough to draw conclusions!
Finland, Sweden, Norway, Spain, France, Germany Israel, Greece & Cyprus because they were published after the contest & Hungary, Ireland, Romania & Turkey as they used a jury to produce their vote in 1998
And the top ten for those 13 juries was:
1. Uk 107
2.Netherland 89
3.Ireland 88
4.Malta 75
5. Belgium 46
6. Sweden 40
7. Israel 39
8. France 36
8= Portugal 36
10 Croatia 35
So i'not an expert in statistics and i'm not courageous enough to check every televote from 98 and juries we know to find the 50/50 33 but it seems to me you're mistaken.
France was clearly more liked by juries as it got 36 points more than with the televoting.
Croatia wasn't high enough after 13 votes to win the jury voting and obviously not the 50/50 as countries who did as good or better than them in the televoting were between 40 & 70 points higher with the jury.
Maybe Israel would've still have a shot, depends on the 12 lacking juries votes but i think it's more likely UK or the Netherland & maybe Malta would've won if EBU used à 50/50 voting systhem. It's only logical to think so.
2005: Greece would have won
I don't thing that Helena could won over the Amaizing ballad of Chiara if the jury was there.
