A break after Portugal?
Hum... Does this mean they think we have a good shot for a good result?

Spain got the "dead spot". It might not do as well as everyone was expecting.

Cyprus is winning. I'm almost 100% sure now.

I think Cyprus wasn’t given #26 just so that people would not complain.

I want Queen Foureira to win, I won’t lie, but based on the order my guess is that the title is between France, Israel, Hungary and Cyprus. Albania and Moldova as my picks for challenging for top 5.

My other guess is that Ireland will be at least top 12, if not top 10.

First thoughts..

Austria probably was a borderline qualifier
Norway following Estonia makes me wonder where both ended up in their semis

:fr: rightfully getting the latest spot possible for the first semi final. Being followed by :cz: is not that fortunate though.. it completely killed Belgium in the first semi. :cz: getting an early spot in the second half?

Australia didn't do as good as usual

Israel and Cyprus were top 2 in the first semi for sure.

I think the Netherlands did better than anyone expected

Oh well I haven't done that bad:

Green = correct
Orange = 1 away
Yellow = 2 away

1. Ukraine
2. Spain
3. Serbia
4. United Kingdom
5. Estonia
6. Germany
7. Norway
8. Portugal
9. Austria
10. France
11. Albania
12. Lithuania
13. Slovenia
14. Denmark
15. Finland
16. Ireland
17. Italy
18. Sweden
19. Israel
20. Bulgaria
21. Moldova
22. The Netherlands
23. Cyprus
24. Hungary
25. Australia
26. Czech Republic

I wonder why Björkman is hating :cz: so much? I mean this year they finally have a song that should please him...

Its normal that entries being in starting or finishing positions in their semis don't get that position again.

The thing I'm wondering the most about is that :al: and :rs: good such good spots... Or is it just because they were early in the semis, they are now late?

They're fodder for Germany and France's performances. This actually means they were probably 8th-10th in the semis

Is Germany seen as kind of a favorite now to so? I can't believe that... It's so cheesy and tacky

A few things I noticed in the running order...

*This is the third time in a row that the SF2 closer opens the final (Laura Tesoro did it in 2016, and Imri last year)
*Second time in 4 editions that Italy closes the show (Il Volo closed in 2015)

Additionally, it's been a custom since 2016 on the BBC telecast to raise a drink to the late Sir Terry Wogan at the ninth song. So how fitting that this year's song 9 will be the United Kingdom!
