A bit too toxic commentary calling it trash. Victor is facing the concequences of bad publicity by Melissa. It is definitely not as bad as people say, if only they could see further from “it is not ethnic enough” and “it won because of nepotism” silly allegations. I think it can do a 10-15th place, if he sings well.

Ok my review:
Victor is a cute, fresh guy who has talent, but he was just not ready to prepare a competitive eurovision song on his own.
I mean, it has some good elements ( love the prechorus ), the base is there, Panik's producers could actually make something good out of this, but they just left it like he wrote it.
The verses are unnecessarily long, especially the second one, leaving no space for a moment at the end, and when you think its going to built ( with those drums ), it goes to a slower tempo with that clapping and it feels like its ending with a bridge rather than a final chorus.
The result: the whole track feels the same, monotonous, like it doesnt even have a chorus.
I dont know how this will do, its not competitive as a track but with clean/effective/moving staging it could ensure jury support, they should appreciate his vocals. Asumming he will qualify, semi 2 is weak and so Greece-friendly, after that it will all come to the performance.

I also hope that Greece will return with something stronger and with traditional Greek elements. "Onirou Mou" was the last strong entry for me, even when she failed to qualify. But I still actually think that Victor's song is not bad at all. I like it, but don't know if this will qualify in May. Depends on what Victor will bring on stage and what the others. I see only 6 artists as sure qualifiers.

I have to agree with some here, I like this song but it's so un-greek.
Oniro Mou is my favorite Greek entry by far, I hope Greece will return with something like that or just give us some Nikos Vertis vibes. Same for Cyprus.

It's fine I guess, I'm not offended by it, but the production is poor. I respect the guy for putting so much into the song at only 16, but unfortunately his age shows, as does his lack of experience. This song just isn't good enough for Eurovision. He also emotes kind of strangely in the video and that worries me for the live performance.

It's not the lack of 'ethnic' entries from Greece that's bothered me lately (rather have these than Utopian Land...) but more that they seem to have forgotten that anyone over the age of 25 exists. Young talents can be stunning and a good rallying point for a story (I'm thinking of Destiny here, and to a lesser extent Stefania) but they're also a huge risk. They're not usually able to write their own songs competently, and so the alternative is putting them in the hands of songwriters and stylists who often make them into something they're not.

Idk, this ended up as a bit of an off-topic rant, but I just hope to see Greece moving away from this 'teen-star' trend in future. I guess I'll give the song a :3:? Since I don't hate it or anything.

Ok :gr:, you just stole three minutes of my life and I want them back!! Do you understand?? IOTAP

This is really a big piece of nothing. The songs starts very boring , the beat doesn´t fit at all and his singing style with that unnatural sounding British accent isn´t pleasant for me either. After the songs end absolutely nothing stays in my mind, it´s like I´ve listened to empty air. xbored

Since I could at least listen to it without feeling pain I give them :1:, it´s really the worst Greek entry in a very long time for me!! (n)

Ok, I blame my fever for my first comment:

I will upgrade it to :3: .

What I don´t get: You´ve had some decent vocalists and great artists in your selection and the panel came up with a terrible Top 3.
That Hannah Montana song was utterly dated and garbage, the other track was catchy but kinda trashy and this one... I don´t really know how I feel about it?

Victor´s voice is not strong enough to carry that song. He´s too young to make the lyrics feel authentic and genuine. I can still remember my teen years even though it was a very demanding and emotional time (sometimes), I fail to see why Victor sings about "nostalgic mind" and how he "misses the days when his heart wouldn´t ache".

The verses are too long, I agree with that statement - especially the 2nd verse and that´s why the chorus can´t evolve, create a moment.. .and dunno, the built-up don´t feel genuine, either - I would have preferred a structure like "In My Blood" by Shawn Mendes (if I have to come up with some sort of comparison).
The final part, however, might explode on stage (it remains to be seen) - it may sound messy in the studio verison but I think it got some potential to boost the audience.

It´s still in my Bottom 5, though.

The cursive singing in the first line had me on floor lmfaoosfklfsf such an off-putting start

I feel sad for the semi 1 flops already. They won't deserve being eliminated when semi 2 hands the final 10* spots to all these randos

*9 - i will exclude dear Austria from this narative

Please also exclude sLOVEnia from the list of randos. It would be very much appreciated.
