It's not about the age! And in our area, it is for granted that we speak English, we are a tourist area.

But she does! She just has to perfect her pronunciation, but she's perfectly intelligible. There are people in Liverpool that speak a worse english than hers.

I read that the Greek delegetion tries to change some things. They want to change the backdrop, Victoria Chalkiti (the backing vocal girl) wasn't heard at all at the rehearsal...and they one-two surprises not seen yet. :D

But, I'm 23 years old too! :?

Yeah, you don't speak Russian, you don't get a job nowadays here! xshrug

It's same situation in Montenegro. Russian is nonofficial second language thanks to many Russian tourists and tycoons who bought houses there

Dafni Bokota (presenter of ESC for ERT for eighteen years, from 1987 until 2004) said that what she saw is like she saw 800 million times, and that it's a show "10 years ago". She said that Greece should've withdrawn from this year's ESC, and that Greece goes as a "poor relative" this year.

i think i miss something here..........how on earth does anyone come to the conclusion that if rehearsal (choreography in particular) wasnt a very impressive one, this has to do with low budget or economic situation in Greece????????????:

as for Bokota,it s really getting soooooooooo tiring watching her eeeeeevery year talking negatively abt all greek entries and delegations ever since ERT kicked her out from the competition 's presentation!!!Hasnt she even become tired with herself....?

I believe that too... Why to withdraw? There are countries that are far poorer than Greece and they still participate. Do they have to have luxuries etc, like they did with Sakis Rouvas in 2009 and all the money they spent? You can have a decent performance even with very low budget. And you can still have a disastrous one with millions spent.

Btw, when she was in the presentation and was responsible for the Greek representatives, Greece sent some really really bad songs (like S.A.G.A.P.O.)! Now why she's talking?

OMG I can't @ all the Botticelli's "Birth of Venus" references in the choreography and the background! Such a 2010-century's Venus! So ethereal, flawless, artistic, deep, meaningful! This performance will be a future classic, mark my words.
